Off Market: diving into the discreet world

of exotic investments

After several years of applying a classic investment strategy, effective but monotonous, I have opened the doors to a world whose vastness I had underestimated: exotic investments.

Far from the world of finance and trading floors, there is a swarm of enthusiasts and collectors of original, tangible, precious goods. For a long time, only wealthy investors dared to venture alongside these specialists. Today, while almost everyone can afford to buy a watch, few can access these models from prestigious watchmaking houses, whose rarity drives prices up in the second-hand market.

Every domain holds fascinating stories—a wealth of craftsmanship, heritage, and hidden gems. That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate a portion of my monthly savings to exploring them. I’ve researched, tested, and found ways to gain exposure to these alternative assets with a wide range of amounts: €10, €100, €1,000, or even €10,000. Some of these experiences have been successful, others have served as valuable lessons, but all have contributed to deepening my knowledge and expanding my perspective as an investor.

Off Market was born from this adventure. Our primary goal is to document these uncommon exotic investments and share our learnings. Next, we want to demonstrate how anyone can expose themselves to these different categories of tangible assets, according to their means. Each article is crafted with rigor and method, with a focus on total transparency regarding the results of our operations and our satisfaction with the platforms we use.
